Diagnosis of Patellar Tendon Injury

Absence from Club World Cup and Possible King's Cup Semi-Final

Real Madrid have confirmed that star player Eden Hazard has suffered a patellar tendon injury to his left knee. The club stated that he is expected to be out for 4-5 weeks. This means that Hazard will miss Real Madrid's participation in the 2023 Club World Cup, which begins on Wednesday against Al-Ahly. He may also miss the King's Cup semi-final against Barcelona in March. Hazard has struggled with several injuries throughout his time at Real Madrid, with his last La Liga appearance dating back to September 9.
