 Al-Ahly secured a win in the preliminary round of the Club World Cup after defeating Auckland of New Zealand with a score of 3-0. The match took place in Morocco, where Al-Ahly will now face Seattle Sounders, the champion of CONCACAF, in the quarter-finals.

Since his suspension was lifted, Kahraba has taken part in three matches for Al-Ahly and contributed to a total of five goals, two of which were his own against Smouha in the Egypt Cup and Zamalek in the league, and three others were for his teammates against Smouha and Auckland City in the Club World Cup.
